I teach courses on all aspects of German studies, with a particular emphasis on 20th century culture, literature, and media. In my classroom, students engage with technology in pedagogically meaningful ways, e.g. through collaborating on the development of mobile learning apps (AppGyver, ARIS). I also enjoy teaching beginning language classes. I direct the LBAT Berlin study abroad, part of the German Languages for Business and Technology (LBAT) program. Courses include:
- German Political Songwriting
- Coca-Colonization: Americanization and Anti-Americanism in West Germany since 1945
- Germany Today: Aspects of Contemporary German Culture
- Berlin: The Capital in the 20th Century
- Advanced German Grammar
- Advanced Business German
